Why is your First Session Free?

I know that the most crucial element to your Success is our relationship. It will provide the safety, sanctuary and trust we need to do our work. Research clearly indicates that the most significant factor in predicting the success of any therapy is the relationship between therapist and client.

This is why I offer a free first session to give you the opportunity to ‘try out’ working with me, and to ask any questions you may have. I am also happy to have a brief conversation with you address your reasons for seeking Spiritual Psychotherapy prior to our first meeting.

I want to know more about Spiritual Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is not easily described in general statements. The psychotherapeutic process varies depending on the personalities of the psychotherapist and client. It also depends on the particular problems that you are experiencing or topics you want to explore.

There are many different methods I may use to deal with the problems that you hope to address. Further, in contrast to a visit to a medical doctor, psychotherapy requires active and diligent participation on your part. In order for therapy to be most successful, you will have to work on things we have discussed both during and outside of our sessions.

In addition it is important for you to understand that I am not qualified to determine clinical diagnosis or prescribe medication of any kind. If you are in care of a mental health professional such as a psychiatrist or psychologist, please inform him or her of your decision to seek Psychotherapy sessions with me.

Are there any risks?

Like anything in Duality, Spiritual Psychotherapy can have benefits and risks. Psychotherapy can facilitate increased insight, growth, and change if you commit yourself both in sessions and outside of sessions to working towards your goals. Therapy can lead to better relationships, solutions to specific problems, and significant reductions in feelings of distress. Therapy can also bring unexpected changes and deep transformations to your life.

However a good question to ask yourself is this: Do I want to be in charge of my life, my emotions and thoughts or do I want to continue to let my life, emotions and thoughts be in charge of me.?

For some people, therapy can bring up emotional pain as part of healing. You may feel difficult feelings before starting to feel better. If there were a pill for this, it would not heal your mind, only numb your brain!
